Congrats to our Cheer All-American Nominees and All-Americans!
Date Posted: Sep 08, 2009
During the summer Freedom High School Cheerleaders attended the National Cheerleading Association Camp/Clinic (along with 10 other schools) where they worked hard and learned lots of fundamental techniques and life skills that pertain to the wonderful world of cheerleading!
While exibiting each skill, instructors observed each cheerleader and nominated 7 FHS cheerleaders to become an All-American cheerleader, what an HONOR! The most in Freedom HISTORY! :o)
To become an All-American each cheerleader that was nominated must try-out (exhibiting a collection of Jumps, Cheer, Tumbling, & Spirit) and reach a certain score that is set forth by the Association. Of those 7 nominations, 3 were awarded the All-American accolade!
Congratulations to ALL of our All-American Nominees!:
Susan Berhane, Kayla Burgess, Kiyomi Clarke, Alyssa Gomez, DeAndre Harness, Brittney Parks, & Javon Warren
